The variable - length link model consists of two absolutely rigid inertial sections located at the ends of the link and a weightless variable - length section located in the middle of the link. At one end, the link is connected to a fixed support by means of a combination of two cylindrical hinges. To control the movement of the link, two electric motors are installed in the hinges, transmitting the torque by means of gearboxes to the link. The third motor controls the change in the link length. A system of Lagrange - Maxwell differential equations of motion has been compiled. Selected, three electric motors. A special feature of the approach is the possibility of its full automation based on the comparison of central points on overlapping images. As a result, it is possible to obtain photoplanes and orthophotoplanes in a time mode close to real time on board the aircraft. Additional connections make it possible to redistribute the energy of the striking element (bullet, fragment) to the entire volume of the material and thereby increase the protective properties of the material without weighing down the armor. The article describes the essence of the experiment, shows the procedure for its implementation, including testing tissue samples and processing numerical results.
