ASSESSMENT OF THE INFLUENCE CONTROL TRAFFIC INTENSITY ON THE STABILITY OF CLUSTERED UAV-RELAY NETWORKS UNDER COMBINED ATTACK CONDITIONS
AuthorsA.E. Derkach Key words:data exchange network, UAV-relay, clustering, control traffic, stability, combined attack, electronic warfare, fire engagement, timely delivery probability | Annotation:This article examines the impact of service traffic on the resilience of a UAV relay network under combined electronic and fire suppression. Relationships are derived for estimating the probability of timely packet delivery as a function of the service traffic intensity required to ensure the functioning of the data exchange network. It is shown that reducing the packet routing algorithm based on network structure clustering (with 5–7 relays per cluster) reduces service traffic by more than four times and simultaneously increases the resilience coefficient (in this example, the improvement was over 10 %). The results of this study can be used in routing algorithm design and in justifying the network bandwidth allocated for service channels. Pages Code UDC: |

AuthorsG.A. Sharipov S.A. Garelina A.Yu. Skrynnikov V.S. Fedoruk Key words:emergency rescue operations, emergency rescue units, computer search for acceptable options, urgent work, optimization task, parallel execution, rest period, distribution of units, emergency response forces, and technological restrictions | Annotation:The article proposes an approach to improving the efficiency of distributing emergency response forces at a single site for emergency rescue and urgent work. The approach is based on the enumeration of valid combinations of sequential and parallel execution of stages of the complex of emergency rescue and urgent work with the distribution of emergency response forces. Unlike existing approaches, the proposed approach takes into account the different numbers of units, the different times of their arrival at the site, as well as the need for regulated periods of rest for emergency response forces to comply with safety requirements and prevent a decrease in work productivity. A rational solution is determined by the criterion of the minimum total time for completing a complex of emergency rescue and other urgent works. Pages Code UDC: |

DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR THE PROBABILITY OF DESTROYING A SMALL UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE WHEN FIRING FROM THE AGS-17 AUTOMATIC GRENADE LAUNCHER
AuthorsA.V. Tolov D.V. Chirkov V.V. Tolov I.I. Rudenko Key words:AGS-17, VOG-17, small UAV, destruction probability, mathematical model, fragmentation field, median deviation, head-on motion, flanking motion, lead, coordinate law of destruction, normal distribution | Annotation:The article examines the possibility of engaging a small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with a VOG-17 round fired from an AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher. It is shown that effective use of the grenade launcher against UAVs requires a targeted modification of the fuze: either reducing the self-destruction time to values comparable to the time of flight at effective engagement range (3–5 seconds), or equipping the grenade with an intelligent burst system (a proximity laser/radar fuze or programmable preset burst time). Assuming such modernization, a mathematical model for the probability of UAV destruction by the fragmentation field under headon and flanking motion in ideal meteorological conditions is developed. INTEGRATION OF EXOSKELETONS WITH INDIVIDUAL ARMOR PROTECTION MEANS
AuthorsA.Yu. Garkushev A.M. Sazykin N.M. Silnikov Key words:protection, exoskeleton, protective material, personal protective equipment (PPE), integration, tactical equipment, combat effectiveness | Annotation:The text discusses the integration of exoskeletons with personal protective equipment (SIB) as a way to increase the combat effectiveness of a serviceman. The problems of joint use of these systems are described — weight gain, reduced mobility, overheating — and a way is proposed to overcome them by creating unified platforms where armor elements become part of the exoskeleton frame. Special attention is paid to the Russian composite «RUSSYL»: it allows to reduce the weight of SIB by 15–20 % without loss of protective properties. Predictive performance indicators of the integrated system are presented (reducing the load on the musculoskeletal system by 60–80 %, increasing endurance by 2,5–3 times, etc.), development prospects (active exoskeletons, «smart» combat suits) and key technological challenges are outlined.
