Annotation:

Uninterrupted movement of trains on Railways is possible only if all elements of the railway transport infrastructure are in good condition. At the same time, the railway is a large and complex extended mechanism consisting of sufficiently large, heavy and, thus, causing difficulties in transportation of elements. At the same time it is impossible to deny that failure of one element (for example, deformation of a rail, violation of durability of a superstructure of the bridge, overturning of a support of a contact network on railway tracks) will inevitably lead to violation of functioning of all system, and, as a consequence, to violation of movement of trains. The article reveals the approaches to the organization of operational equipment of the territory of the country for the purpose of defense, in terms of the territorial placement of construction materials and structures for their operational use in the threatened period and wartime.

Annotation:

The deterministic test method of kinematic and dynamic characteristics of shell fragment moving from the point of explosion to the target has been developed. The analytical relations of positioning of fragment holes on the rectangular parallelepiped of target, its hitting conditions and also fraction specific lethal energy in the arbitrary trajectory peak have been formulated. The developed relations are an alternative to the current firing evaluation tasks of the size of reduced target area, the value which is determined with many assumptions and significant errors. The analysed approach of impact evaluation of the ammunition is best matched to the objective reality because it is based on fewer assumptions.

In modern conditions, a likely enemy ability to form salvos of anti — ship missiles (AShM) simultaneously from several directions, the high intensity of the attacks and the extremely low flight altitudes of the small maneuvering missiles (AShM) create great difficulties for their reflection by forces and facilities of navy ships. The research described in the article is directed to overcome these difficulties and to increase the combat stability of the SS connection. In the specific case considered in the article, the game theory methods are applied when determining the optimal parameters of building AFC system and developing the practical recommendations for increasing its effectiveness.

The method of numerical simulation was used to study the stress-strain state (SSS) and the destruction of monolithic and spaced barriers from anisotropic material (organoplastic) interacting with an aluminum isotropic compact cylindrical impactor. The total thickness of the plates in the spaced barrier equals the thickness of the monolithic barrier. The normal impact in the range of initial speeds of 750–3000 m/sec is considered. The problem is solved within the framework of the phenomenological approach of continuum mechanics. Numerical modeling is carried out by the finite element method in a three-dimensional formulation using the EFES 2.0 authoring computer complex. The behavior of the projectile material is described by an elastoplastic medium; an elastic-brittle model of the medium is proposed to describe the behavior of the anisotropic barrier material. The influence of the orientation of the symmetry axes (properties) of the orthotropic material of the barriers on the dynamics of their destruction is investigated, the comparative analysis of the effectiveness of monolithic and spaced barriers is carried out.

The paper shows the possibility of controlling the contamination of aqueous solutions with toxic substances using a gas analytical system, which is based on semiconductor gas-sensitive sensors. The control of toxic substances is carried out in a saturated pair formed above the surface of solutions during the diffusion of molecules of dissolved substances. The control is carried out by the adsorption-kinetic method of analysis using semiconductor gas-sensitive sensors arranged in a multisensory system. The use of a multisensory system increases the selectivity of the detection of target substances. A procedure has been developed for calculating the content of substances in a solution by the concentration of a substance in the gas phase. The equation for the correspondence of the concentrations of substances in saturated steam and in solution is derived.

The main physical and mechanical characteristics of the structural material for protective structures of special fortifications are presented. The calculation of the rebound angle from the protective structure made of highstrength concrete based on surface and volume hardening is carried out. The influence of the surface hardness of the protective structure material on the reduction of the rebound angle is taken into account.

The article presents the results of experimental tests of high-strength concrete for strength after its bulk modification with iron hydroxide Sol in a constant magnetic field. It is established that the mechanism for increasing the strength of concrete during such modification consists in the involvement of unreacted cement particles in the hydration process with the formation of additional low-base tobermorite-like hydrosilicates, which makes it possible to activate hidden reserves of cements. The process of additional chemical reactions with Sol nanoparticles occurs due to their ultra-small size, which makes up the values for the tests performed 22 nm. It is revealed that with this hardening, the increase in the strength of class B30 concrete is in the range of 150 to 180 %.

The influence of porosity on the mechanical properties of metal products obtained by selective laser melting is analyzed. Methods of elimination of porosity are considered. A characteristic and common defect of selective laser melting is a significant porosity of the metal. The effect of porosity on the mechanical properties of the metal product is taken into account by the effective stress concentration coefficient determined experimentally. The minimum porosity or maximum relative density of the metal in selective laser melting is due to the optimal technological mode of construction of the product. Methods of elimination of porosity of metal products obtained by selective laser melting are considered. It is shown that hot isostatic pressing in a gas or liquid medium can significantly increase the relative density of the metal products obtained by selective laser melting. The kinetics of pore size change during hot isostatic pressing is considered.

Currently, climate change has been recorded, when the amount of precipitation exceeds the annual norm, the intensity and duration of rains increase. As a result, surface runoff systems are overflowing, which leads to flooding of streets, roads, basements of buildings and military infrastructure. The article describes the method of hydraulic calculation of surface runoff systems proposed by Professor P.F. Gorbachev. The analysis of this technique was carried out and, based on the results of experimental studies using hydraulic dynamic models of wastewater basins, regularities were established for changes in the actual wastewater discharge at the exits from them when “equally possible” rains with different durations and intensities fell out.

The article discusses a way to increase the duration of drainage-free storage of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the cryogenic fuel tanks of various vehicles. A technical description of the local storage system is proposed, which allows to increase the retention time of cryogenic fuel in a liquefied state until critical pressure occurs when the fuel is vented to the atmosphere. A technique has been developed for the use of corrugated structures of cryogenic containers in order to change their volume and ensure that the level of the liquid phase of the fuel is not variable, which will reduce the evaporation rate and, as a result, will increase the period of growth of excess pressure in the tank. The calculations related to the selection of the design of the corrugated capacity of the LNG tank, the determination of heat transfer and time of drainage-free storage are made.

The article presents a systematic approach to substantiating the technical equipment of field warehouses of the fuel service based on the analysis of technological processes for receiving (issuing) fuel from road transport. The main directions of technical equipment of field fuel depots are defined, first of all, by means of fuel pumping. Particular methods of substantiating the requirements for the purpose and reliability of fuel transfer facilities for field warehouses of the fuel service of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation are given. It is assumed that the analysis and modeling of the use of field fuel depots allows you to create an optimal system of technical equipment for warehouses based on the example of fuel pumping facilities, based on operational and tactical requirements. Application of unique PSG technology based on elastic tanks, and optimization of quality indicators of PSG fuel transfer facilities according to economic criteria. Carrying out the formation of calculated variants of the fuel storage system taking into account the likely impact of the enemy on transport communications and MTO objects.
