METHOD FOR TESTING THE SWITCHING TIME TO BACKUP LINE IN MSP ARCHITECTURE DURING COMMISSIONING
AuthorsA.N. Antipova I.V. Bryksina Z.R. Sheffer Key words:protective switching, redundancy, multiplexing section, communication network structure, communication line, operational reliability, information transfer | Annotation:Modern telecommunications technologies make it possible to build communication networks that are many times greater in capacity than communication networks built on analog communication equipment. But, as you know, there is not always only «winwin », something, but you have to «sacrifice». Thus, in modern communication networks, a properly constructed synchronization system is required, the basis of which should be a primary reference oscillator, a technological equipment control system is required, the development of new communication documents is required, and much more related to the use of SDH and PDH telecommunication technologies. For this reason, newly constructed communication networks require careful testing and multi-level monitoring using expensive measuring equipment before putting them into operation. This article is devoted to some of these measurements and the problems associated with these processes. Pages13-21 Code UDC:654.02 |

METHOD FOR DETERMINING CONTROL PULSES FOR FLYING AROUND HAZARDOUS CHIP
AuthorsL.P. Zozulya M.Yu. Bulekbaeva P.S. Goncharov Key words:characteristic speed, dangerous area, flight, two-pulse evasion maneuver | Annotation:This article presents a method for constructing a model of coplanar two-pulse high-speed collision avoidance maneuvers. To perform an evasive maneuver the characteristic speed has been determined to ensure the transition of the spacecraft from a given initial point of a circular orbit to a given end point of the same orbit. Carrying out the appropriate maneuver to fly around dangerous areas is formed on the basis of an analytical solution. The presented analytical support allows you to quickly and zones were carried out along an elliptical trajectory. Constructing an elliptical flyby orbit comes down to finding the shape of an ellipse that intersects the initial orbit in two ways. Convenient for experimenting with planning orbital evasion maneuvers, it allows you to construct schemes for orbital evasion maneuvers. The permissible limits of the parameters of the flyby orbits are indicated. The method allows you to determine the nearest suitable moments of time for the beginning and end of the application of the pulse. Pages22-26 Code UDC:620.17 |

PROPOSALS TO REFINE THE BASELINE DATA SYSTEM ON THE VULNERABILITY OF MANPOWER TO FRAGMENTATION ANTIPERSONNEL MINES BASED ON MULTIPLE IMPACTS
AuthorsS.S. Katernyuk A.A. Ermakov O.V. Klyukov A.V. Denisov Key words:manpower, fragmentation antipersonnel mine, personal armor protection equipment, striking elements, multiple impact | Annotation:The article considers the problem of the need to clarify the source data system (SID) for assessing the vulnerability of manpower when exposed to a fragmentation field, without which it is impossible to solve the problem of increasing the effectiveness of fragmentation anti-personnel mines. It is shown that the formation of the field of destruction of combat units of anti-personnel mines made using small-sized high-strength striking elements (such as shot) provides multiple effects on the target with the implementation of an additive mechanism of destruction by summing the effects of a group of striking elements is realized. It is proposed, in addition to the «medical» criterion for the defeat of manpower to additionally introduce the concept of a «combat» criterion for its defeat, regulating the delay time of its loss of combat capability after the received impact, taking into account the conditions of the operational and tactical situation. INVESTIGATION OF THE REGULARITIES OF CHANGES IN EXCESSIVE PRESSURE AT THE FRONT OF AN AIR SHOCK WAVE IN THE NEAR ZONE OF THE UPPER HEMISPHERE WHEN THE EXPLOSIVE CHARGE IS DESTROYED IN AN EXPLOSION PROTECTION DEVICE
AuthorsA.S. Puchkov A.I. Spivak N.N. Vasilev S.N. Vasileva Key words:explosive charge, explosion protection device, air shock wave, overpressure | Annotation:The patterns of changes in excess pressure in the air shock wave front in the near zone of the upper hemisphere when an explosive charge is detonated in an explosion protection device have been studied. It has been established that the explosion protection device does not change the propagation profile of the air shock wave, in comparison with the profile characteristic of detonating an open explosive charge of the same mass. In this case, there are no clearly expressed gradients in the amplitudes of excess pressure in the front of the air shock wave, due to the layout and design characteristics of the explosion protection device. The use of an explosion protection device makes it possible to reduce the level of excess pressure in the air shock wave front by up to 20 times in the near zone from an explosive charge in comparison with detonation of an open explosive charge of the same mass. THE INFLUENCE OF THE LAYERED STRUCTURE OF THE FUNCTIONAL COATING ON THE PROBABILITY OF ITS FAILURE IN TERMS OF STRENGTH WHEN DETACHED FROM THE SUBSTRATE AND WHEN STRETCHED
AuthorsA.Yu. Andryushkin V.V. Bulygin D.M. Gubanov Key words:multilayer functional coating, supersonic spraying, scale effect, strength, uniformity, probability of failure | Annotation:The reliability and survivability of special-purpose equipment increases with a decrease in the probability of failure of the functional coating in terms of strength. Multilayer functional coating is characterized by high homogeneity and low defectiveness. To ensure the uniformity of a multilayer functional coating, a supersonic spraying method with a multi-jet supply of atomizing gas is recommended. An experimental study showed that an increase in the number of single layers and a decrease in their thickness contributes to an increase in the strength of a multilayer functional coating when separated from the base and in tension. A large-scale effect has been established, which consists in the influence of the layered structure on the strength of the coating samples. Layer-by-layer spraying of a functional coating of 3–7 single layers is recommended, which ensures its acceptable strength with high process productivity. Pages105-115 Code UDC:678.026 |

CHANGING THE COMPOSITION OF THE AIR ENVIRONMENT OF THE INHABITED COMPARTMENTS OF THE 2S1 SELF-PROPELLED HOWITZER UNDER CONDITIONS OF USING AN INCENDIARY MIXTURE OF THE NAPALM TYPE
AuthorsS.M. Logatkin D.A. Altov Key words:composition of the air environment of the inhabited compartments, an incendiary mixture of napalm type, burning, the light armored vehicles | Annotation:Article is devoted to the study of the composition of the air environment of the inhabited compartments of light armored vehicles on the example of the 2S1 self-propelled howitzer, the «Carnation» cipher in the conditions of using an incendiary mixture of napalm type. Napalm was applied in a concentration considered as combat to the surface of the body of a self-propelled howitzer and to the area of the air intakes of the filter ventilation unit (FVU). As a result of the conducted studies, a significant increase in temperature on the inner surface of the armor and a slight decrease in the oxygen content in the inhabited compartment were found. Due to the ignition of rags in the control room and thermal destruction of paint, an increase in the concentration of CO, CO2 and hydrocarbons was recorded on the inner surface of the armor. There was a pronounced irritating effect of the conjunctiva of the eyes and mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract. The process of burning napalm caused the subsequent malfunction of the FVU. Pages116-121 Code UDC:613.57; 623.438.4; 662.2-31/38 |

THE SECURITY OF MILITARY SERVICE AS A MEANS OF CREATING SAFE CONDITIONS OF MILITARY WORK
AuthorsS.A. Tsutsiev Key words:conditions of military service, safe, harmful, dangerous, workplace, hazards, occupational risks, social benefits and compensation, hygiene | Annotation:The article is devoted to the study of the problem of creating safe conditions of military service in the workplaces of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The current security management system of the military service is currently unable to ensure the creation of declared safe conditions for military work at every workplace. Moreover, a long-term stay of a serviceman under the influence of harmful and (or) dangerous factors of military service with a high risk of damage to health, except in cases of death or injury with labor loss, is not a violation of domestic legislation. In our opinion, the system of prohibitive measures is not sufficiently developed: preference is given to the development of a system for providing military personnel with social benefits and compensation in connection with military service in special conditions.
