A more recent technique for solving the main problem of internal ballistics, developed by Yu.P. Platonov, which has an advantage in calculations of automatic rifle and cannon systems. The order of preparation of initial data for calculations according to this technique is proposed and the solution of the test basic problem of internal ballistics for a large-caliber small arms system is given, the results of which confirmed the good accuracy of the calculation in comparison with the results of the ballistic experiment perform ed. Indicators and generalized criteria used to assess the quality of the system for recording the non-barrier fragmentation field are formulated. A simplified algorithm for assessing the quality of the systems under consideration is presented. The implementation of a multi-criteria approach to the problem being solved is shown, which makes it possible to determine the best one by sequentially narrowing the many different design options for the recording system. LIGHTPATH MODEL IN OPTICAL TRANSPORT NETWORKS

When designing these networks, routing and spectrum assignment problems for composite optical channels, called lightpaths, are solved. Existing lightpath models are mostly descriptive or limited to routing without taking into account the assigned frequency range. To improve the efficiency of spectrum resource management in optical transport networks, a mathematical model of a lightpath is proposed in this paper. On the basis of the model it is possible to solve the subproblems of light path routes search taking into account the requirements for non-intersectivity of spectra, contiguity of elementary frequency intervals of each light path, continuity of spectrum on the whole route and finding within the limited spectral resource of the network. The first approach is based on the direct application of the extended Kalman filter algorithm to a single composite measurement vector. The second uses the recalculation of measurements into a common coordinate system using an unscient transformation and their further sequential processing using recurrent algorithms. The article presents the disadvantages of the first approach in its practical implementation and substantiates the advantages of the second approach, which make it possible to overcome the identified difficulties. ISSUES OF BUILDING AN ADAPTIVE SURVEILLANCE AND DETECTION SYSTEM FOR «STEALTH» OBJECTS IN THE INFRARED RANGE

The purpose of this article is to explore the possibility of using adaptive control principles in infrared detection systems to improve their technical characteristics. The task of adaptive control of the aircraft detection and tracking system has been formulated. To solve the problem by the method of variational optimization, the introduction of a focal length control function depending on atmospheric transmission is proposed. Under the condition of imposing some restrictive condition on this function, the problem of unconditional variational optimization was formulated, the solution of which gave a specific type of this function, in which the target functional under study reaches a minimum. It is indicated that such a minimum can significantly complicate the execution of the detection operation and a recommendation is given to avoid this detection mode in practice. The method is based on the formation of the flight path of an attacking munition based on the results of location measurements, and the prediction of its position in the picture plane of a group target using the least squares method. The object that is closest to the predicted trajectory is taken as the object of attack. The model allows conducting studies of the accuracy of determining the object of attack depending on the parameters of fluctuations in the trajectory of the attacking munition, the parameters of the geometric scheme of its application, the intensity of observation noise and the number of measurements. It has been established that the promising design of roller shutter lamellas should be composite and include materials of different structure and characteristics in order to reducing the productivity of the cutting tool used when testing roller shutters for burglary resistance. A design for the lamella of roller shutters is proposed, consisting of the following protective structures: the outer wall of the lamella, a non-metallic insert, a metal insert in the internal cavity and the inner wall of the lamella. The effectiveness of the proposed lamella design has been confirmed experimentally (burglary resistance class not lower than P7 according to GOST R 50862- 2017) and is protected by a patent for the invention. It is shown that direct measurement of an acceleration or angular velocity of the projectile is impossible due to the insufficient range of sensor values. Microelectromechanical accelerometer utilization is proposed to estimate the angular velocity of the projectile and calculate the initial velocity of the projectile by estimating the angular velocity. A simulation model of projectile motion with accelerometer located at a small distance from the center of mass of the projectile is developed. The accelerometer readings during the projectile motion are studied and an algorithm for their processing is developed to estimate the angular velocity and, as a consequence, the initial velocity of the projectile. The derivation of the expression of kinematic overload for motion in the «beam» emanating from the control point (carrier) is presented. The resulting expression for calculating the overload is suitable for modelling guidance using any guidance method (line-of-sight guidance, methods with straightening). A mathematical model for calculating kinematic trajectories in this case and the results of calculations using the line-of-sight guidance method are presented. The forming technology determines the thickness of a single-layer functional coating, at which it can be considered homogeneous. A method is proposed for estimating the probability of failure of a single-layer functional coating based on approximated experimental data on the destruction of samples when detached from the substrate. An experimental study of the effect of the thickness of a single-layer functional coating on the probability of its failure in terms of strength when detached from the substrate has been carried out. The possibility of using additive technologies for prototyping UAV components has been explored. A test program and methodology has been developed to determine the actual mechanical properties of materials used in additive manufacturing. It has been established that it is more appropriate to use FDM printing to print UAV components due to less time spent on printing the part and cheaper printing consumables, and for parts that require complex geometry and greater mechanical strength, it is better to use LCD printing. Tests were carried out on the mechanical properties of finished products printed on LCD and FDM type 3D printers. The test results were analyzed. The difference in the mechanical properties of products made from photopolymer resins is shown depending on the additional illumination time. With the development of modern technologies, the possibilities of manufacturing manipulator parts and assemblies have expanded, which, in particular, leads to a significant reduction in the cost of gripping devices. At the same time, in modern robotics and mechanics there is a tendency to create mechanisms with an extra degree of freedom, which greatly simplifies the management and structure of the product. In this paper, we propose a design of an artificial finger with a simplified control system and an adaptive object capture system. A block diagram and dependencies for the synthesis of a lever structure are given. Strength calculations of the proposed grip have been carried out, allowing us to proceed to the design development of the product. THE USE OF EXPLOSION-PROOF ELEMENTS IN THE DESTRUCTION OF ARTILLERY SHELLS BY EXPLOSIVE METHOD USING OVERHEAD CHARGES

Frolenkov Key words:artillery shell, destruction, fragmentation effect, high explosive effect, sandbag embankment | Annotation:The issue of the peculiarities of the destruction of artillery shells in the immediate vicinity of military and civilian critical infrastructure is considered. It is shown that to ensure guaranteed safety of objects from the effects of fragmentation and high-explosive explosions, it is advisable to use explosion-proof elements. Based on experimental data, it was established that the use of explosion-proof elements in combination with the standard packaging of the projectile and embankment of sandbags made it possible to reduce the weight of the embankment by more than 12 times in comparison with embankment without the use of the protective structure «wooden box — explosion-proof elements» and more than 5 times compared to filling the projectile with soil (dry sand). In this case, the pressure in the front of the air shock wave decreases by more than 10 times. There are no shell fragments at a distance of 12 m from the explosion site. Pages147-158 Code UDC:623.4 |
