METHODICAL APPROACH TO THE VERIFICATION OF PREDICTIVE RADAR IMAGES OF THE TERRAIN
AuthorsFilippskikh Evgeny Eduardovich Makarov Mikhail Mikhailovich Konorev Dmitry Viktorovich Key words:verification, radar image, correlation measure, contrast, radiometric accuracy | Annotation:The article discusses a methodological approach to the verification of predictive radar images of the terrain. The analysis of the main causes of visually observed discrepancies in the forecast radar images of the terrain is performed when comparing them with the corresponding data obtained experimentally. An example of a full-scale and corresponding predictive radar image of an area is given, as a quantitative characteristic of assessing the adequacy of which it is proposed to use, among other things, a correlation measure that provides a comprehensive account of radiometric and geometric accuracy when comparing images. Using this approach to image verification, the radiometric accuracy of the forecast radar image of the terrain was evaluated, and the values of errors (discrepancies) in the transmission of contrasts on it relative to the corresponding full-scale radar image of the terrain were obtained. MODEL OF A SYSTEM FOR COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE STABILITY OF A HETEROGENEOUS SYSTEM FOR DETECTING, PREVENTING AND ELIMINATING THE CONSEQUENCES OF COMPUTER ATTACKS AT THE STAGE OF ITS OPERATION
AuthorsKonovalenko Sergey Alexandrovich Key words:static stability, dynamic stability, system for detecting, preventing and eliminating the consequences of computer attacks | Annotation:The analysis of threats to information security of a heterogeneous system for detecting, preventing and eliminating the consequences of computer attacks shows that the most dangerous conditions for its operation are manifested in the form of destructive influences that lead to disruption of the functioning process and the availability of its elements. Under the selected operating conditions of a given system, the existing approaches to assessing its stability do not take into account its design features, as a cybernetic system, modes and operating conditions, which indicates their low efficiency. Taking into account new aspects, a structural-functional model of the system for complex assessment of the stability of a given object at the stage of its operation is constructed and a formalized description of its functioning process is given. HYGIENIC RATING 50 YEARS LATER: THE MEANING TRANSFORMATION IN TERMS OF MILITARY SERVICE SECURITY SYSTEM’S PERFORMANCE
AuthorsTsutsiev Sergey Alexandrovich Key words:hygiene, rating, working conditions, hazardous and dangerous, military service, transformation | Annotation:In recent years, a transformation of the environmental factors’ hygienic rating principles has occurred. As a result, it is allowed to work in harmful and/or dangerous conditions with the subsequent occupational disease development in employees, and the scope of study and hygienic assessment is increasingly becoming not the health of a healthy person, but the health of a person who has already become sick. This is billed as a social norm. To our opinion, the current military service security system in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is insufficient and serves to confirm the thesis – even in peacetime, the level of injuries among personnel remains extremely high. THEORETICAL JUSTIFICATION OF THE LAYERING OF THE FUNCTIONAL COATING OF SPECIAL-PURPOSE EQUIPMENT TO REDUCE THE PROBABILITY OF ITS FAILURE IN THE PRESENCE OF UNACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURING DEFECTS
AuthorsAndryushkin Alexander Yurievich Iziumova Elizaveta Andreevna Romanat Nikita Key words:functional coating, defectiveness, defect, rationing, failure, limit condition, multilayering | Annotation:The high quality of the functional coating is determined by the absence of unacceptable manufacturing defects. The normalization of a manufacturing defect according to its characteristic size is presented. The multilayering of the functional coating is theoretically justified to reduce the probability of its failure in the presence of an unacceptable manufacturing defect. With a multilayer functional coating, the size of the manufacturing defect is limited by the thickness of a single layer. The influence of the multilayering and uniformity of the functional coating on the probability of its failure in the presence of an unacceptable manufacturing defect has been assessed. Increasing the uniformity of single layers and their number significantly reduces the probability of failure of the functional coating in terms of quality. Pages104-108 Code UDC:678.019 |

BALLISTIC RESISTANCE OF ARMORED SITALL SISTEMS Li2O – Al2O3 – SiO2
AuthorsMerkulov Yury Yuryevich Mikhailin Andrey Ivanovich Silnikov Nikita Mikhailovich Key words:sitall, ballistic resistance, glass-ceramics, armored sitall, hardness, armored ceramics, surface density | Annotation:One of the options for creating a relatively inexpensive, light and hard frontal layer of ballistic protection is armor sitall (high-strength glass-ceramic). The effect of liquid immiscibility of glass components (segregation), which manifests itself in the form of "marble stains" on the sitall surface, is considered. The tests carried out for protection class Br4 showed that there are no significant differences in properties between samples with and without segregation. Armor sitall samples obtained during experimental crucible melting have unstable ballistic properties. If this drawback is eliminated, it is possible to create composite panels based on sitall plates with a thickness of 10–11 mm and a UHMWPE substrate for protection class Br4 with a surface density of about 35 kg/m2.
